We need to change our culture to make it safer for our young people in Nova Scotia.
It’s time to speak up and make a change.
It is our hope that our children and youth will lead this change.
- Our children and youth can bring about a cultural shift.
- They can decide that bullying is not acceptable today or tomorrow.
The effects of bullying go beyond the schoolyard. You can be a partner to help address bullying behaviour in our community.
Bullying behaviours must never be ignored. Our response must be united and consistent.
It is important for youth to know where to turn if they face crisis.
- They need to know they can and should reach out to a family member, friend, teacher, or health care professional.
- If a young person reports bullying or cyberbullying to you, you can help them connect to resources to support them.
